Salvador is a touristic city in Northeast Brazil, known for its beauty, regional food, and music. |
The International Symposium on Cognition and Musical Arts is a scientific forum of an interdisciplinary nature. Its focus lies on the discussion and dissemination of new, unpublished research on the cognitive processes and mechanisms underlying the perception and production of all musical arts. Key-note speakers will be Drs. Aaron Williamon (Royal College of Music) and Daniel Levitin (McGill University). |

The deadline for submission to SIMCAM is February 15th, 2007. The conference languages are Portuguese and English. Papers in Spanish and French will also be accepted, although the organizing committee cannot guarantee simultaneous translations in these idioms during the symposium. |
