Spoken papers, presented orally in thematic sessions, will be allocated 30 minutes, consisting of 20 minutes for presentation, 5 minutes for questions and discussion, and 5 minutes for preparatory set-up for the following presentation. |
Poster presentations, will take place at a special time within the program, when presenters will have to be presente for explanations and discussion. Specific information concerning poster dimensions and other requirements will be communicated to authors of accepted poster presentations in the acceptance letter. |
Demonstrations of a performatic or tecnological nature presented orally, will be allocated 30 minutes, consisting of 20 minutes for presentation, 5 minutes for questions and discussion, and 5 minutes for preparatory set-up for the following demonstration. Longer demonstration session proposals are welcome, and may be accepted pending on relevance to the conference themes and time issues. Presenters are responsible for all materials to be used in their demonstrations. It should be noted, however, that the Arts Department has some equipment that may be used by presenters, available upon request. |
Undergraduate student works (Honours’ Thesis and Monographs) |
The Scientific Committee of III SIMCAM strongly encourages submissions of undergraduate students, enrolled in Scientific Programs (Iniciação Científica) or developing graduation monographs or honours’ thesis. These works will be considered for poster sessions only. In order to encourage and increase the amount of quality research on cognition and musical arts, there will be an award for the best student poster.. |
